Animals are our friends, pets, food source and fellow citizens of the Earth. They are the links in the food chain and life cycle that keep the planet in tune. The enormous number of individual species and families of animals is astounding. There are many which are yet to be discovered! There are many excitng things to learn about animals and we shall explore some of them through this site.

Unfortunately, some of the animals which once participated in the cycle we call life are now extinct. Others are in danger of the same fate. Most of this problem is caused by human kind. It is so important that we protect our neighbors who share this planet with us.
